Dr. Benjamin Mudzanire

Dr Benjamin Mudzanire is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Curriculum Studies at Great Zimbabwe University where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in language and literature. He holds a Doctor of Literature and Philosophy in African Languages from the University of South Africa, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Arts (Shona) from the University Zimbabwe (UZ), a Bachelor of Education in Shona (UZ) and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies from the Zimbabwe Open University. He is extensively published in popular music and social context, pedagogics, literature and cultural studies and has presented many papers at local and international conferences. His key publications are on African Cultural Reawakening and Music and Social context.
