Invitation to the Award Ceremony of the 5th BIGSAS Journalist Award 

The BIGSAS Journalist Award honours differentiated reporting in German-language print media on the topic of "Africa". The overarching aim is to promote and honour a differentiated understanding of Africa. The BIGSAS Journalist Award thus contributes to an important social task of knowledge transfer and sends an important and positive signal to the world in favour of more tolerance, understanding and open-mindedness.

Chaired by Dr Yacouba Banhoro, ACC Director in Ouagadougu, Burkina Faso, the jury that decides on the award consists of members of the cluster and BIGSAS alumni.
