The Head Office

In order to carry out the day-to-day business, the diverse activities, as well as the sustained planning of the Institute of African Studies (IAS), the head office of the institute is managed by a scientific coordinator. Together with the directors of the institute, he / she guarantees that its decisions are implemented. The head office is also supported by an assistant, a research assistant and a student assistant. The head office is the interface between all relevant faculties, departments, and units of the University of Bayreuth. It also serves as a contact point for external inquiries.
